I have been a student and teacher of operant conditioning/classical conditioning style of training for over 6 1/2 years. I am a huge supporter of continuing education and attend dog/training related seminars and telecourses yearly. The focus of my business is- management, relationship, training and education to both the dog and handler; whether you own a dog with issues, are going into competition, or have a family pet.

Our training methods are effective and humane. We do not use, nor advocate, fear or force when training dogs. We believe in taking the time to teach our dogs what it is they need to know in order to be successful in their household. We use; positive, science based training- Operant Conditioning & Classical Conditioning.
Our group beginning puppy classes focus on; Management, relationship, socialization, education, and learning foundation basic behaviors. For the puppies, tricks, and freestyle we use clicker based training methods to lay a solid foundation. Clicker training is 'communication not domination'. For privates we use reward based training methods, and only use the clicker at the owners request. Privates are a great way to further your training with your dog. Privates are also great for those who would like to train during the day or on weekends.
Paws & People Consultations are a great way to address the needs of both you and your dog in a one-on-one environment. For the more serious behavioral problems, a consultation can offer an evaluation and possible treatment.
