Gwen – Labrador Retriever
Adopted from an Idaho shelter in 2003, Gwen is around 13 years old now. She was hands down the best hiking partner I ever had. Her enthusiasm for charging straight up mountains ensured we were always the first of our hiking party to reach our destination…usually about half an hour ahead of the others! With her hiking days behind her, Gwen now passes the time learning new tricks, playing treibball, and enjoying one of her many cushy dog beds. She’s a great example of why old dogs should always be learning new tricks!
