PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU PAY / CONSIDERATIONS

NO GUARANTEES - While Paws & People will do it’s best to give you accurate information, training guidance, and a treatment plan, we cannot guarantee success. There are many factors that we cannot control; owner compliance, dogs genetics, consistency, early socialization, and environment. We will advise you, but cannot be responsible for you or your dogs’ actions.

NO REFUNDS/ NO MAKE-UPS – once you register for a private, consultation, or class there are no make-ups, and no refunds. Please adjust your schedule for the time period of your class. This is your responsibility to schedule and arrive at class on time.

NOTE - if your female dog is in standing heat, we will ask you to not come to class, and reschedule you the following session, this is a limited offer. If there is serious illness or death, or you are called to active duty, we will refund your payment, or the unused portion of your class.

CONFIRMATION - Space in class or private training will not be confirmed until your form and payment have been received. We do not hold spaces or guarantee space.

HEALTH – You and your dog must be healthy in order to attend a class. Please make sure you are well when attending class. If your dog has a cough, diarrhea, runny eyes, pink eyes, itchy all over, lice, or fleas, etc – YOU MUST GO TO YOUR VETERINARY. Please do not come to class.

CLOTHING – Your shoes must be indoor outdoor shoes, comfortable and closed toe. No golf spikes, soccer cleats, or high spike heels. We suggest you wear old clothes, comfy clothes, as you will be moving, on the floor, walking, and working. Some dogs jump, so please do not wear anything that you don’t want to get dirty or muddy. This is good common sense when working with animals. We do not recommend white pants, white tops, white sweatshirts, or white coats. Just sayin! We have heat, but please bring a sweater or coat in case you get cold.

GEAR – We allow flat buckle collar, we prefer a harness (EZ X HARNESS or FREEDOM HARNESS), 4-6 foot leash, potty bags. We do not allow or recommend e-collars, choke chains, or pinch/prong collars.

REWARDS – Please do not feed your dog for at least 3-4 hours before class. Rewards are what your dog finds rewarding, food treats should be whole meat that is either cooked, dried, or freeze dried. Please stay away from ‘crappy fast food’ treats with grains and sugars and salts. That will upset your dog’s tummy. You can also bring your dogs meal with you if it is close to their meal time, along with other higher value rewards. Come prepared.

CHILDREN - We welcome families in our classes but ask that all children remain in their chairs during class time. No children may walk freely around the room or use the equipment intended for dogs. No children may be left in cars in the parking area, or in our office. This is all for safety and to lesson the distractions.

If you do not hear from us, please reach out and call, it means that whatever you sent, we did not receive it!!!

Thank you for wanting to work with your dog!
